Position Overview

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated cannabis delivery driver to join our growing team. In this role, you will serve as a face of our business and an ambassador for our brand. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality cannabis products directly to our customers’ doors with professionalism, care, and safety, while collaborating closely with the entire Gotham Buds team in a dynamic environment where systems and processes are continuously evolving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely deliver cannabis products to customers across Manhattan in a timely manner.
• Load and unload delivery vehicle efficiently, ensuring products are secure and undamaged.
• Collect on unpaid orders and handle cash or electronic payments accurately and securely.
• Regularly inspect and maintain delivery vehicle to ensure it meets safety standards.
• Keep accurate inventory records of cannabis products and materials in your vehicle, ensuring compliance with Gotham Buds’ procedures and New York State regulations.
• Audit and reconcile delivery manifests, confirming order specifications, quantity, and quality.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring controlled, compliant delivery methods.
• Provide excellent customer service, developing rapport with customers and resolving issues promptly.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience: Prior delivery, customer service, or related experience; cannabis industry experience preferred. Security work history/background is a plus.
• Detail-Oriented: Computer literate with above-average math skills; familiarity with Dutchie is preferred.
• Clean Driving Record: Valid New York State Driver’s License and a demonstrable history of safe and responsible driving. Must submit lifetime driver’s abstract from all states where license has been held.
• Physical Capacity: Able to handle the physical workload of loading and unloading products.
• Deadline-Oriented: Commitment to delivering orders within specified timeframes.
• Cannabis Knowledge: Familiarity with cannabis products and regulations is highly advantageous.
• Age Requirement: Must be 21 years or older.

Additional Requirements:

Commitment to background check compliance as a condition of employment. Employees must report any changes to their background to the staff administrator immediately.

• Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

• Shifts: TBD / Weekends

• FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
